There has been an explosion of new social media platforms and tools for organizations and groups to use to advance their campaigns, from fundraising to documenting community impact to generating creative action. How could small, less-resourced groups use some of these tools? What are some ways to tap into volunteer resources to help manage, maintain, and evaluate the social media presence of the organization? We will explore the use of the various social media tools, such as facebook, twitter, instagram, or tumblr, and share case studies and best practices. Participants are welcome to share their own experience using social media tools.
